Mr. Frost directly applied to my life
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, (actually it was a redwood forest)
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood (five minutes, five months, etc)
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim, (-$ vs +$)
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves (needles) no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. (arg, I will find a way!)

I shall be telling this with a sigh (I hope not, I hope not)
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I *scribblescribble* turned around and went back the way I came.
And that has made all the difference. (...the end?)

So. That's that.

That means Cornell, then, I take it?

Indeed it does. The above situation really did occur, both literally and figuratively. I had to make a decision. I had to leave the woods for dinner. I hope someday to get back to those majestic groves, but I think Cornell will suit well for a few more years.
